With a desire to create movement, without distracting your eye, I went with layered expressive brush strokes and added a delicate piece of ostrich feather to the black base. When a little air passes by the painting it comes alive. I love how this piece looks framed. It is currently NOT framed. The images are just examples. But I highly recommend framing. Sides are painted white.
