Turn your eyeshadow into paint!

I'm not an art teacher, but I do love sharing some of my fun experiments for any of my creative friends and family. Here is a fun way to dispose of old eyeshadow! 

What you'll need: 

  • Eyeshadow in the powder form
  • Gel Medium (I use Golden Brand Gloss Gel)
  • Practice paper (any will do)
  • Paint brush

Here's the video I shared on instagram (posted to YouTube) Sorry, I don't know how to post a video on here LOL! I took a toothpick to scoop out the powder pigment, then used a teaspoon size scoop of the gel. Mixed well. Applied with paintbrush to my practice board. Now, you can experiment with all types of colorful eye shadows. I only had this palette from Marc Jacobs to try. I don't wear makeup much, so most of my makeup is expired and needs to be dumped!
